Practitioner’s note

The Tuesday Night Compromise is the most-practised position in the Western canon, accounting for an estimated 41% of all documented encounters. Its appeal is in its modesty: nothing is ambitious, everything is enough, and the kitchen is mostly clean. It is the position one could, in principle, sustain indefinitely.
