Practitioner’s note

The most advanced position in the canon. The Mutual Tolerance is rarely attempted by novices and cannot be faked. It is performed without instruction, generally in the kitchen, and is recognised by the absence of any conversation about it afterward. The Society considers it the highest expression of the form.

Common mistakes

Discussing whether you are doing it correctly.
Adjusting the thermostat unilaterally.
Anything sudden.
